Paper Abstract:
|
Due to large-scale information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure projects, ICT is increasingly contributing to the environmental impact of operations, especially in terms of energy consumption and associated carbon emissions. Thus, ICT UAE federal government and its awareness level among the employees is a prominent issue. This research aims to propose a measurement tool that can quantify the awareness level affecting ICT sustainable implementations in the UAE federal government sector using NRI Metric Alignment with awareness. In order to, identify the awareness levels of employees on the different concepts, requirements and benefits of ICT sustainable implementations. This paper has investigates the current efforts and investments on sustainable initiatives in the selected federal government agencies in the UAE. |
